26° Brewing and Flanigan’s Create Signature Craft Beer for Restaurant Locations

Pompano Beach brewery and taproom, 26° Brewing, and regional restaurant chain, Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill, have partnered to create a signature craft beer exclusively for Flanigan’s restaurants.

Flanigan’s is a staple in South Florida, with roots dating back to 1959. Since then, the chain has expanded regionally to include locations from Miami to Stuart. Flanigan’s Pompano Beach location neighbors 26° Brewing, which has led to this pairing of one of South Florida’s most historic restaurants and one of Broward County’s newest craft breweries.

Co-founder of 26° Brewing, Greg Lieberman, describes the beer as “made with premium pilsner malt, a touch of wheat and unmistakable noble hops, this easy-drinking light beer compliments any meal.”

26 Brewing – Joe’s Pale Ale

The signature craft beer, brewed by 26° Brewing, has been named “Joe’s Pale Ale,” after Flanigan’s founder, Joe Flanigan. Co-founder of 26° Brewing, Greg Lieberman, describes the beer as “made with premium pilsner malt, a touch of wheat and unmistakable noble hops, this easy-drinking light beer compliments any meal.”

To celebrate the release of “Joe’s Pale Ale,” there will be an invitation-only party on Tuesday, December 13th, at 26° Brewing in Pompano Beach.

Starting December 14th, “Joe’s Pale Ale” will be sold exclusively at Flanigan’s locations for $1.79 per pint and $9.99 per pitcher.

According to Julian Diaz, Flanigan’s Supervisor of Restaurant Operations, “Joe’s Pale Ale will be sold in (Flanigan’s) liquor stores in the near future, as well as growlers in certain locations.”

Announcing Ziko Fest 2016

Come celebrate the turtle that started it all. Five years ago, Ziko the sea turtle was released back into the ocean after being successfully rehabilitated by the good people at Loggerhead Marinelife Center (26° co-founder Greg Lieberman was a volunteer for the center at that time).

With such a feisty personality, this magnificent creature (the turtle, not Greg) earned a flagship beer to be named after him: Ziko’s Rage – Imperial Stout.

Ziko’s Rage Imperial Stout has won many awards in its journey through the sea of homebrew and professional brewery competitions and it’s now ready to make a believer out of you!

Open Mic Mondays are the Perfect Cure to the Monday Blues

There’s no better way to get rid of those Monday blues than a good ole fashioned open mic night.

26° Brewing is excited to announce that we’ll be hosting an open mic night from 9pm-close on the third Monday of every month.

All acts are welcome, from comedy and poetry to live music. And what’s better than enjoying entertainment from local performers? BEER! At 26° Brewing, we have a diverse range of craft beers on tap, all brewed right on site.

Whether on stage or in the crowd, join us on the third Monday of every month for the hottest open mic night in Pompano Beach.

Who: the general population who could use a good laugh or two, have an ear for poetry, enjoy live and local music, and all who appreciate creativity and art.
